I had been struggling with a rifle in .280 Ackley. 3 bullets, 4 primers and 3 powders and I could not my desired accuracy. Barnes had announced these being sold as components, so I held off on selling the rifle. I'm glad I did! My seating depth started just touching the 2nd drive band which ended up being my final depth. I'm running a charge that is about 2% from being compressed and this was the ticket. My two 10 shot groups were just over 3/4" @100 yards. SD's sub 9 on both. 300 yards was under 2" and it held tight out to 550 yards. My app shows just over 2050 FPS at that distance. Reaction from the plates backed this up. This coming season will be the true test of these bullets, but I've never had an LRX not perform exactly as it should. I'll leave another review after I take a deer with it. Big thanks to Barnes for releasing this 152 as a component. I bought 400 from the start and all were the same lot#. Consistency is excellent, no damage to bullets observed. I could not be happier.
