We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Tool and Die Polisher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, can maintain intense focus for extended periods, has an eye for detail and finds hands-on tasks rewarding. You will help produce and maintain high-quality tooling by polishing, finishing, and inspecting dies, molds, and related components to exact standards.

Details:
Principal Duties and Accountabilities (Essential Functions)
- Polish, deburr, lap, and finish tooling surfaces to required cosmetic and functional standards.
- Remove machining marks, scratches, and surface imperfections using hand tools, abrasives, stones, compounds, and polishing equipment.
- Inspect dies, molds, and components for surface quality, finish consistency, and defects.
- Work from prints, specifications, and verbal instructions to meet precise finish requirements.
- Protect critical edges, contours, and dimensions while performing detailed finishing work.
- Clean and maintain tools, materials, and work area to support quality and safety standards.
- Communicate issues such as wear, damage, or nonconforming surfaces to toolroom or production leadership.
- Support die maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement efforts as needed.

Education. Skills, and Experience

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistent, high-quality work.
- Ability to maintain intense focus while completing intricate, repetitive, and finite tasks.
- Experience in polishing, finishing, deburring, or working with precision tooling in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Comfort working with small features, tight tolerances, and surface finish requirements.
- Ability to use hand tools, abrasives, measuring tools, and polishing compounds safely and effectively.
- Basic ability to read drawings, job instructions, or tooling requirements preferred.
- Dependable, patient, and self-motivated with a strong sense of craftsmanship.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on shop work safely.
- Ability to speak, read and write in the English language sufficient enough to perform the following:

Vision abilities include close vision, distant vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
