Its unique profile promotes flawless feeding while helping maximize velocity, delivering devastating terminal performance even from compact firearms with barrels as short as 8".

The internal cavity was specifically tuned for the 8.6 BLK and its unconventional 1:3 twist rate. With a 1:3 twist, shooters can expect 1.8X diameter expansion down to 1,400 fps. The bullet also performs well in 1:6 twist barrels, although expanded diameter may be slightly reduced and the minimum expansion velocity slightly higher. Traditional 1:10 twist rates commonly found in legacy .338 CAL cartridges will stabilize the bullet; however, when used in higher-velocity magnum cartridges, some weight loss should be expected due to increased impact velocity
